Yeah, it's a non-sequitur argument.
He's saying that just because something happened means it should happen to someone else.
Yeah, I mean, I really like what that one guy was saying in that if there was any rules or guidelines that would be helpful for enforcing any forms of enforcing fighting against bigotry, it would be things that protect people from physical violence, from physical harm.
And that would be like the forefront of it.
But obviously, the policies that Trump proposed encroach on students' free speech.
It seeks to very obviously categorize any pro-Palestine movement or protest, no matter how peaceful they are, as something that should be classified as anti-Semitic and result in the punishment of students or the punishment of faculty.
And oddly enough, to the point that you were making, the guy in the white shirt seems to be on board with that because he feels that some stuff was suppressed on social media during 2020.
It's a very spiteful argument.
It's also a very nonsensical argument.
And I think if people start going down this path of,
really trying to escalate the tit-for-tat, and it'll just lead us into a dark place.
Yeah, I agree.
I think that a lot of these arguments are based on a very distorted reality.
