And I think just in general music, I think people tend to sort of go like –
You know, it's, you know, if you had to define cultural society needs to survive, it's hospitals and, and, and transport and, and, you know, all that kind of stuff.
But, you know, people need music and they need release and they need to feel good.
They need to enjoy life.
Like that's important stuff, you know, like that's spiritually, mentally, emotionally important.
They're important things.
Life isn't all about being functional.
We're designed for that kind of experience as well.
And I think it's very easy in our culture to sort of put that to the side.
And I think people suddenly realize that, actually, no, that's really important.
And I think I used to even think that about myself.
oh you know it's just music or i'm just a dj or you know i used to belittle myself in that way as well but like you know i don't anymore i really think it's important and i see that on people now and i see the effect 30 years later you know like i did a gig on recently sounds on sunday reunion and i saw the joy in people's faces and i was like man this is what it's all about at the end of the day you know like if you bring that kind of joy to people i think you're not you think you're doing a good thing kind of like a sound shaman
And then again, you know, look, sound healing is becoming a thing, right?
True, yeah.
So, yeah.
Um, look, it was interesting one.
Um, Tim, I think just Tim McGee, who, um, is the man behind ministry, um, and was sort of a lot more, a lot more hands, obviously really hands on with the compilations back then.
I think he saw what was happening with the breaks scene and how it was blowing up.
And I think it sort of took a bit of a punt and a bit of a bit of risk on it really.
