The tournament, to me, does not need to be messed with.

But more specifically, I don't think we need more mediocre big conference teams.

I mean, I looked at who would have been in last year.

It would have been like Auburn and Indiana and, like, did you need those teams in the tournament?

So, I don't like it, but it is what it is, I guess.

Why go from 68 to 76?

Could we have had an interim step of like 72?

I mean, 12 games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

That's six games each day.

It's all about the money factor, you know, trying to figure out a way to make more money with more games.

I mean, their argument for it is, well, there used to be this many teams in Division I, and 64 was this percentage of it, and now there are more teams, but we haven't added.

But here's my issue with it.

you're not adding more teams from bad conferences.

All you're doing is making the bad teams in the big conferences get in.

I mean, did you all feel like last year Indiana and Auburn needed to be in the tournament?

No, absolutely not.

I mean, that's what you're doing now is you're basically making sure that Indiana and Auburn get in.

I think the fact that the first four has been such a success there in Dayton –
