Yeah, I agree.

This reminds me of a lesson.

I appreciate the call.

I think I told this story.

I get asked a lot by younger people who are in TV or whatever, should I get an agent?

Because when you have an agent in media, it can kind of stink because you're giving part of your salary to them.

And especially when you're first getting started, you don't make a lot of money, right?

Remember Diego Pavia didn't hire an agent.

But then somebody said to me, Matt, here's a reason why you should do it.

You need your agent to kind of be a jerk with your boss.

But if you have an agent, your boss won't hold it against you.

Correct.

They'll hold it against the agent.

So when you're sitting there arguing with them, it's very hard to argue with somebody who's like, you're not worth this.

And you go, yes, I am.

And then I'm like, you're being whatever.

And then you have to go work with them.

Whereas with the agent.

They can just hate your agent, and you can just come in and work.

I think there's a lot of truth to that.
