Maybe when we talk about being a sound engineer, I don't want to be a sound engineer.

Yeah, no, I was just gonna say, you know, there's also, you know, it's a very technical role, I guess, what, the way that I came through, if you like.

And so, for me, it's not just about learning

It's not just about knowing about the industry and the jobs.

It's also where are the opportunities to actually learn, you know, how to do this stuff.

You know, I can go to a school and learn about theatre, I suppose.

There are probably apprenticeships I can do in broadcast.

But I'm not sure.

Again, maybe someone's going to email and tell me I'm wrong here, but I'm not sure where the actual kind of technical education opportunities are for the events industry.

It's all very well saying we need to get people aware of what's going on in events.

And then what do they do?

You know, and then where do they go and learn about how to be a sound engineer?

I mean, again, I can go and shadow somebody at a live music venue, you know, and I can pay £100 a night and they can teach me how to mix a band.

but that's not really what we're talking about, you know?

So I don't know what the next steps are as well.
