And then Tondu contacted the person that he said was the one with the real motive.
The one who he said instructed him to find a hitman.
Let's call this guy the boss because it was his boss.
And he told him a story designed to rattle said boss.
He called him up.
and he said the police had come to his house and that he was scared and that he needed some cash to get away, to leave town, to throw the police off his trail.
He told his boss to meet him in a private place.
The logic of this trap is pretty simple.
If the boss had never hired anyone, this conversation would make completely no sense to him.
He would act confused and he would have nothing to manage.
But if he was guilty, then he would have a problem that he needs to solve.
A panicking middleman is dangerous, so the boss would have to handle it.
And if so, the camera would catch exactly who this boss man was when he showed up.
So he decides to meet on the evening of April 29th in a car outside of a fast food restaurant.
Tondo is in the backseat.
His friend, it's air quotes, his friend is driving.
And the guy he told police had wanted Jade dead got inside the front seat of the vehicle, except the friend driving wasn't a friend.
It was actually an undercover officer.
