Missy and this ex-husband used to come into the same dentist.
And the ex-husband still did.
According to the dentist, Missy's ex, he was not happy about the divorce.
And he had recently told him when he heard that Missy was remarried and pregnant, that he was really upset.
He held a lot of resentment.
So investigators are now laser focused on finding out more information about this man.
And it turns out he has a criminal record, but when they're digging in,
it's minor crimes it's like petty theft a few other things nevertheless anyone could go into a rage and an ex with a grudge is a viable suspect so they bring him in for questioning he denies everything he says i have nothing to do with these murders he gives them an alibi for that night he was back in miami nowhere near the macgyver residence
And he's stunned that his ex-wife is deceased.
He gladly willingly provides that DNA sample.
And when they compare it to the crime scene, it is not a match.
So they are back at square one.
And it's really disheartening.
