But uh yes, the family has has been a huge assistance, you know, with what we do.
Um, my family in particular.
Um, my family is extremely important to what I'm trying to do.
Um they have spent a lot of time um trying to help me, even for example, 2021, um, when we were trying to buy a school building from our local school system, uh, it didn't work out.
Um, and I had already had 40 kids signed up for the summer purpose.
program and uh we originally tried to get the kids into a hotel.
I didn't think about how bad of an idea that was uh at the time uh because the kids as much as disciplined as they are when I'm not around all that goes out the window sometimes.
So those were new kids.
I had not had them before and so they were at the hotel like going nuts.
They were like throwing cereal and and and throwing ice on each other and knocking on people's doors and whatever.
Imagine 40
Teenage boys.
My grandmother calls me and says, You bring all those boys over my house right now.
And so I had a school bus that I had just bought.
And so that was the only way to transport them around.
So we got on the bus, we left the hotel, went to grandma's house, and we had air mattresses everywhere, whatever.
And my grandma and me, we just got them all wrangled up.
She would cook for them every morning.
If they wanted to stay up all night and not go to sleep, she would make them clean up and wash dishes and whatever.
You know, and uh they love my grandma to this day, like that whole squad.
