And so you, you know, the game was evolved that way.
Now you look at it like last night's game.
I mean, two teams that are really good at scoring on the rush.
It's up and down hockey.
It's, it's, you know, it's, it's, it's, and what.
teams are taught is you know today is taking time and space away and you know teams are really good with their sticks there's less physical you know contact hitting but you know they're they're just taught so much and so well these days on angles and sticks and taking time away so guys have to make plays so fast to me a lot of it is that a lot of the guys today they get skate the game's fast and everything but it's a matter can I make the plays as fast as the game has evolved and I think it hasn't at all
at some times, and that's where, you know, you see turnovers and that.
But goaltending's the biggest.
You know, they're so good right now.
They're so big.
They're so athletic.
And, you know, you see a lot of goals now.
You see a lot of preaching.
Instead, it used to be, like, get in front of the net and get in screening goalies, which is huge, and you can see it in this series.
But the backdoor top-ins, and Sidney Crosby's a great example.
This is a big area.
You see it in Buffalo's power play.
They send a guy right to the post and stands there and looks for top-ins.
Because right now, you give a goalie the chance to see a puck straight on, a very, very hard opportunity to score on them these days.
So I think it's the pace of the game, it's how well they're taught, and it's goaltending that's really created a tough to score goals.
