to humanize it i wanted to give my listeners the opportunity to be inspired by your story okay so uh tell us a little bit about yourself ralph before your cancer and you have cancer still to this day you're fighting it and and um because i could guarantee you that there are people that are listening to this podcast that are nerds like me on data centers and they just like to hear about how to be a better leader but we all are struggling as everybody's battling something in certain stages maybe matched

But, but stories like yours will inspire others in this industry because the circumstances of their lives could be putting them in a situation where it's life changing. matched

It could be the birth of a child, the death of a family member. matched

It could be a victim of some sort of circumstance, but everyone's struggling with things. matched

And sometimes we just need to be inspired. matched

We should be able to find those that inspire us within this industry. matched

So Ralph, where did you come from and how did you, long before you got into this industry, where did you come from? matched

Ironically enough, not to interrupt you, I started my mixed martial arts career in judo on an Air Force base as well. matched

Like Minot, North Dakota. matched

Yeah, Minot, North Dakota is where maybe I picked up my first martial arts, like taekwondo or something like that. matched

But I really got into it when I moved to Spokane, Washington and Fairchild Air Force Base, where wrestling wasn't very prevalent yet at that age. matched
