That's what I think I feel now.
And I think that obviously with the legacy has been, you know, Rack has actually made a huge dent in that legacy.

The deal had been done, I think, before the election but not announced that Gordon Brown would be allowed to announce the independence of the Bank of England.
And I think what Blair did was he kind of left that economic stuff to Brown.

There was absolutely nothing to do except look at their body language or the way that they addressed each other or who decided to add.

It was then about thinking about how you would change the big cities.

You know, we've now got a leader, a Labour leader, indeed a Labour prime minister, who had been obviously in Westminster, but then went on to really recast the whole idea of a mayor and a greater... It was always going to be that.
The big failure, one of the big failures, early failures, was the idea of these regional assemblies.
As if they had said, well, actually, Scotland will get an election, so we're going to have to have regional assemblies and Newcastle and regional assemblies.
But that never happened, remember?
