I think it will rebalance and and

felt that coming as I wrote it because I was tr I was traveling with these characters in my head who were starting to realize

the world was not what it wanted they wanted it to be, and find the joy in connection and find the joy in in imagination and find that again and

So by writing, I just felt that's the only choice that I think humanity will find is that we will find a way to make it part of our lives but not take it over.

That's humanity as a whole, I think.

We whether we push back or whether the people who run it will have the same opinion, I think is a different matter.

And that's where that's where my that's where my anxiety and worry sits, not with not with people as a whole, but with with corporations and with those who I work with, those who I know and making sure that they they they wield this tool ethically.

I don't know.

I I I think maybe back towards the the points of my life when

I felt very alone.

And they weren't necessarily when I was a teenager.

They were more in my twenties when I was traveling the world and I was living in hotels and I didn't really have a a a home to speak of.

And it was the digital connections I made, the friends I made through early social media, through travel that kept me sane and kept me grounded and are still friends to this day.

And I think that

undermining that or disregarding that you can make real true friendships through virtual means, I think is is

a a a miss and therefore when it comes to things like social media bans, which I think is coming and other things, you you you don't realise how much of a lifeline you might be cutting off from people because you're trying to do a good thing.

And um so I think I think disregarding the fact that there is there is there is positivity in the technology that we use, it's easy to lean into the bad, but more often than that, my experience is it's not the technology itself that's the problem, it's

It's the the way that it gets constructed or or or designed to meet a goal.

Oh, innate sense is really different.

I I one of the challenges I have I think and I I I hit this with my editors is a lot, is I almost kind of walk into these worlds fully formed.
