But I I am I am this is felt counterinterious because I wanted to use the machine to to sell this book, right?
But I also felt very unclean.
I'm a huge supporter of indie books and indie bookshops um and booksellers.
And so in order to sort of undo what I put into the world, I'm gonna give 50 copies of my day of my second book to schools across the country.
And the way that um I'm doing
Doing it is I've got um
I've got a draw that I'm going to r uh run on uh the eighth of September, International Reading Day, I think it is.
And uh anybody who has nominated a school or a library, no matter how many people who've nominated that school how many times, so I'd say one person can nominate once, not a fifty times.
But if you've nominated it and if the school's been nominated fifty times, it's gonna go in the drawer and I will pull out fifty names.
of schools and libraries and then I will contact 50 indie bookshops and I will get a book from each one of them and send them to that school.
And ideally if I can do it signed and send some goodies away, it'd be great.
And one of those schools I'm going to give a free virtual school visit for.
And I just love the opportunity to do that and cleanse my soul a little of the of the intimate uh marketing that I have in real life.
