I was originally going to be speaking on item three, but I'm going to go, since I heard that the city attorney

had instructed people to if they had comments pertaining to the wall or trees they should do this during oral um and i am i want to make sure that in this is pertaining to the final map it is item three but it's items that are outside of the scope of what is on consent but i wanted to make sure that the trees that are currently along the north portal um neighborhood

area the wall between the rise falco and the wolf teacher housing project that they are retained they're a long-term asset to that neighborhood and this has been going on for 20 years now

We need to make sure that those trees are retained for privacy for that neighborhood.

Also, they provide privacy for the Wolf Road housing and for the new homes that are going in at Balco the Rise.

A lot of them are very mature.

There's redwood trees, etc.

Also on that vein, I want to make sure that the wall there that is shared between the North Portal neighborhood

and Valco the Rise and the Wolf Road Teacher Housing Project, that that is not breached.

This goes back 20 years to the previous owner of Valco Shopping Center.

This has been a longstanding battle and I think it is in due respect to the neighborhood.

I think it's good that we honor the integrity of that neighborhood and their long-term battle

to maintain their neighborhood.

I don't think it's a good idea to try to breach the wall to provide more parking for anyone on the other side of the wall.

I know that may sound strange, but if people look back on the 20 year battle of this, there have been continually

The people in North Cupertino neighborhood and North Portal, their desire has been to maintain the integrity of the wall.
