It might be nice to acknowledge them by having part of the Cupertino website.

And this is a perfect location because the website has everything that pertains to the city in it.

have a section that acknowledges donations of different kinds.

And this does something in that it allows everyone, students, old people, young people, et cetera, to look at the city website as a resource of learning.

That means that they can go onto the website under the philanthropy or contribution section and look at different types of ways that individuals, families, et cetera, have helped make their mark on Cupertino by donating land, donating parks, donating money, which allowed XYZ to be purchased, et cetera, et cetera.

We've never really had anything like this before.

And it made me think because I get a lot of things from San Jose State as an alumni, and we do, my husband and I contribute to his university and to San Jose State.

And they acknowledge their donors by having write-ups in the booklet.

I donate to the chemistry department regularly.

My husband donates to statistics,

former Hayward State, which is now East Bay State.

And it's nice to know who is involved in thinking about different parts of donations.

If you see what people are doing, it also encourages other individuals to contribute, too, in their own way.

So this is something that you can go do research and see, even if someone contributed

someone had fixed a student had helped fix up a garden or a walkway.

Everything can be graciously received.

And that way, then you look it up.

But I understand why we can't have names all over the city, etc.

But I think that having a lovely

website that acknowledges people's contributions would be a wonderful learning tool thank you thank you jennifer mayor that concludes the request to speak on this item
