In the US, they have data and they know that sepsis is the number one cause of death in the hospitals.
They know the costs about it.
They know on the number of amputations.

They know on the long term consequences and also that it's a factor for maternal deaths and that more children die there, even in these high income countries, than die there from cancer.
So we can only hope.
That the CDC can continue their great work.
where they point out that anyone can get an infection and almost any infection can lead to sepsis, which is not a common knowledge or a household uh knowledge.
And they have 1.7 million and at least 3,500 deaths from sepsis.
It's evidence that priorities for national healthcare systems in the future should be based on scientific evidence on the burden of disease in any specific country.
Unfortunately, this is not everywhere the case in our EMR strategy of 80.
Suggestions and measures, only one is dedicated to sepsis.
And this needs to change.
And as closure, we need to follow and to close the enormous existing gaps.
And to achieve this, this requires that every nation.
And also future international bodies like G seven, G twenty, high level United Nations meeting should follow the example of the two thousand twenty two Berlin communiqué of the G seven health ministers.
