They lasted in that situation inside their bubbles for four years.
But I mean, it's obvious that if they tried to live there forever, they can't.

Right now the harsh reality is that the living standard of absolute most Russians has dropped tremendously.
And I've talked so much about that on my podcast, and I think we discussed it here, the economic situation in Russia.
Very simple.
Russia has been spending so much more than it's been earning, plain and simple.
And for four years, it was spending the reserves, covering that deficit, that gap with the reserves it had accumulated, selling lots of oil in the previous two decades.
So that money, that reserves, lasted for four years.
And I call that period Grand Sugar Coating.
Because when you have money, when you pay everyone, when you raise salaries, you can sell any kind of idea.
Oh, we're winning in Ukraine.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Now the money is gone.
I mean, it's gone, gone.
There's nothing.
