Immigration and Customs Enforcement revealing Victor Manuel Diaz, a 36-year-old detainee from Nicaragua, was found unresponsive last week at Camp East Montana in El Paso, Texas, explaining they believe he died by suicide, but the official cause of his death remains under investigation.
According to ICE, Diaz entered the U.S.
illegally in March of 2024.
He was taken into custody earlier this month in Minneapolis and was transferred to Texas.
