That being said, the movie is just way too long.

It's trying too hard to convince us that Sandra Bullock is a regimented anti-magic who's a stick in the mud.

They spend a lot of time on setup and they spend a lot of time on breakdown.

There's not one, not two, but at least three endings to this movie.

True.

I just wanted them to get into the story.

Let us be in this world.

Let us get into the action.

Less meandering.

Let's get to it.

Yeah, I gotta agree with you, Jordan.

At least this time there's not a police investigator from another state coming in to try and deal with this.

And there's not the domestic violence.

There's not, you know, scary scenes of abuse happening in this one.

And I gotta give credit to Lee Pace.

At least this time we have a sexy van.
