The heyday, yeah.

Yeah, so he is ground zero in this story as well.

The 80s is, on the one hand, completely falling apart for so many, but he is navigating it.

He is part of this kind of group of very wealthy New Yorkers that see this as an opportunity to get wealthier, to prosper.

to build a real estate empire, really, but also to understand the importance of the media, the flashy media, the New York Post is his friend.

And ultimately, by the way, recognizing very savvily how powerful the fear mongering is, how powerful the race baiting is, and really understanding

watching this so carefully, watching and benefiting from the Giuliani political experience in New York.

And Trump himself, he tries to court the Reagan White House.

He's happy courting the Clinton White House.

He doesn't really care so much initially about what party.

He wants to have power.

And as this story unfolds, he understands the formula.

He will, once Rupert Murdoch creates the Fox News, he will make that his platform deliberately.

Again, having watched the New York story.

But also, right, he goes on The Apprentice and he goes on Worldwide Wrestling and things like that because he is selling what the Reagan Revolution sold, which is we're going to save this country with businessmen.

And the people who are going to put us in office to do it are working class white guys.

So he's really masterful, actually.
