I was re-reminded of it when I was working on Attica because one of the lawyers that will defend one of the boys is Bill Kunstler, who was a key lawyer.
That's right.
So so Kunstler was a lawyer at Attica, but he was also a lawyer at Getz.
So I was kind of already reintroduced to Getz working on the Attica book.
And then when Trump was gearing up for to likely win a second term, I was just like, I just need to stop.
I need to pivot.
I'm really interested in this moment.
I just want to go back and work on that.
So that's that.
That was what happened.
Well, these are stories.
Well, well, luckily, as with Attica, I am very much knee deep trying to get all of this out there in a different platform like a television series.
And so, you know, fingers crossed and stay posted.
And but, you know, thank you so much for allowing me to share this story with people.
If nothing else, I think it's you know, I hope it is going to get people thinking and also and just treat intrigued by the human beings at the heart of the story.
That's right.

And I think there's a reason we're going back to the 80s.
I will just leave us with that thought.
I mean, I think that was a decade that we either remember so fondly as, you know, it was Madonna, it was neon, and it was great fun.
