That's one of the biggest questions in all of Canadian soccer.

And, you know, in a show like this, I don't really know if I have that amount of time.

Let's start by thinking positive, glass half full.

These tournaments will help that.

The ability to fuel more money into the game, fuel more love into the hearts of people and to see the connection on that team and the ability to put the country before the name on the back.

I think is a lot of things that can help.

But, you know, the facts are the facts.

We haven't produced that kind of player for a long time because of a lot of different reasons, right?

There's a lot of lack of resources in this country.

There's a lot of operationals in the shadows.

There's a lot of issues around the funding of the sport in this country.

Far too many people pay far too much money.

And there's a lot of people making money that shouldn't be making money on the back of some people.

It's not necessarily an inclusive sport.

It's an exclusive sport for certain family members.

So there's a lot of factors to that.

We are fortunate to have been able to produce the likes of Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David, Stephan Astakio and others.

But a lot of that development has happened away from Canadian borders.
