So they married on March 15th, 1991, at the United Methodist Church in Bogansville.

And their first son was Michael Daniel Smith.

And he was born at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg on October 10th, 1991.

And they gave him his middle name in honor of David's brother, Danny.
