Angela, again, she has a really great relationship with Angela, even though there are ways that in the book where she clearly lays out several times how she feels a lot of her children and she owns up to it throughout the book.

But yeah, that's what happened with Harvey.

implication of like, we didn't think that way back then or we didn't act that way back then, but you absolutely were

And then like at one point, Marla's sister calls her out.

She doesn't think that she can realistically pursue an acting career and take care of children, which is also how Buddy comes back into the picture because her acting career starts taking off and somebody has to take care of the kids and she decides that it's Buddy.

And I do like that she like owned up to her failures as a parent.

There were times where like she was talking about the sexual abuse that her kids faced that made me a little uncomfortable, even if they had their permission, because I was like, this

I also understand like her writing this as a record of her own life and really trying to own and be transparent about the ways that she couldn't measure up as a parent because she was chasing this other thing.

She was a reservation agent for United Airlines and it was a job that she kept until I think around the third season of The Jeffersons because she's talking about how like TV is unsure.

You don't give up a consistent job.

So like while she was becoming this breakout hit, she was still taking reservations for United Airlines.

And then when she becomes like a big star, she offers to be their spokesperson.

Like as she's walking out the door, she's like, I can't work here anymore because I'm too busy.
