I'd go to all of these places, towns, didn't matter the size.

And I would host these open meetings and bakeries and coffee shops and people would just show up.

And in some meetings, like two people would show up and I would just have an excellent conversation with two people that I had never met.

And other places where the population was maybe a hundred people, like a quarter of the town showed up.

It was huge, right?

And people, there would be these stories of me showing up at these random places and all types of weather.

And you can do these types of things in a small community like this.

And I really feel like it's your duty to do that.

If you have this type of closeness, why would you just put a post on social media?

Like, why would you just use social media when you have the closeness that you have in this setting?

But people weren't doing it.

I mean, social democracy, I'm sure, is a lot of different things to a lot of different people.

Understanding that markets don't always work and that the government isn't in the way, but it's there to help people be free in their lives.

I am a huge proponent in talking positively about the government.

That does not mean you have to defend every system there is.
