And at that point, I thought, listen,
Like I want social Democrats to have a credible economic argument.
I was sick and tired of center left parties being associated with just like pure activism and asking for things that might not be pragmatic.
I'm not saying that's a fair description of what it was.
But when the Social Democratic Alliance was at its worst place, it was trying to be more left green than the left greens, trying to be more party than the pirate party.
It was trying to be everything that they were not.
And so we basically started this project of restructuring the party.
And that is, for example, where your book came in, which I'm sure you're very happy to hear.
I, we did learn from new labor, I mean, in our own words, right?
I mean, it was very important for us to start running after every news story to start, you know, being on the polarized argument of everything.
Remember what core social democracy is focused on economy, understanding the budget.
People can trust you as a safe pair of hands, but then also be like highly political on welfare matters on housing.
And don't get dragged into the trenches on every single matter that comes in.
And then just be well prepared.
I mean, yes and no.
A lot of people are familiar with each other here, I would say.
It helped me.
I mean, obviously, there's this going to be a personal preference for people, how people interact.
It's good to have people with experience and ties and also good to have fresh pair of eyes, right?
