experience of the UK was living in Manchester.

I went to, yeah, I went to grammar school in Manchester.

Um, I have friends from that area.

I was very close with, uh, you know, my teachers from that area.

This was in 97, 98.

This was like proper UK, Northern part of, of, of, uh, of England.

And then I go to the United States for graduate school.

I start working, I get transferred to London and I'm working in Canary Wharf when Brexit was.

And working in Canary Wharf, London is not the same as living in the UK.

I mean, that was very obvious to me.

Like the moment I moved there, it wasn't like being in Britain, right?

And I mean, my experience, you know, during that day, I mean, we had this brief conversation yesterday.

I remember people just like crying in the streets because they were so shocked.

Like they could not believe it.

It was so outside their thought system.

But a couple of months later, I had a conversation with one of my teachers from Manchester.

I went to visit her.
