They did kind of promise economic pain when they were out there campaigning.
Elon in particular said that his goal was to cause economic pain, not for himself, of course, not for his billionaire buddies, of course, but for you, for regular working class people who will shoulder the burden of an economic contraction, of a recession, of a crash, of all of these firings and all of the social safety net cuts and all of the increases in prices that will fall on you.
So you can't say they didn't warn you because they did promise that this economic pain would come and looks like it is here.
It just so happens...
These five crypto coins that Trump announced he was going to be investing in with this digital asset reserve perfectly align with the top holdings of Bitwise Asset Management, which David Sachs, the crypto czar billionaire dude, happens to have invested in.
So isn't that nice for him?
His top holdings getting a massive boost courtesy of you and me and every American taxpayer.
What's more, yesterday, somebody bought $200 million.
worth of Ethereum and Bitcoin longs at 50 times leverage.
As this person is noting, that meant even a 2% drop would liquidate all $200 million.
So somebody with a hell of a lot of money was really fucking confident that this bet was going to pay off for them.
So who knew?
Who knew ahead of time and was able to make likely billions of dollars off of this announcement?
You know, at this point, it is just undeniable that the core ideological philosophy of Trump 2.0 is just theft.
Elon Musk is the biggest welfare queen to have ever existed in the history of the world.
And we now have the receipts to prove it.
So just to his companies, Tesla and SpaceX, he has gotten at least $38 billion in federal government contracts.
That's our taxpayer money.
going straight into Elon Musk's pockets.
And what's more, Tesla and SpaceX, without our funding, would probably not even exist today.
