I just watched Hillary Sheldon.
She's a congresswoman from Michigan who's a supporter of Haley Stevens going on and accusing him of being sexist and launching sexist attacks on her.
And her list of evidence was just like normal critiques that had no gender connotation to them whatsoever.
It's so incredibly disgusting and dishonest.
And then the other thing you have is Jim Clyburn coming out and, you know, looking at some picture of an Abdul audience and saying, oh, there's not enough black faces in the audience, making a, you know, trying to do this racial resentment argument as well.
And can you look at this?
You're like, she's a white lady.
He's a brown guy.
Like, what are we doing here?
And it's just one more reminder in case we needed them of where this weaponization of identity really came from in the Democratic Party.
It's used in its most vicious and and detrimental way.
as a weapon against any sort of rising left movement.
Hillary did it against Bernie, and so now they're trotting out the whole old playbook again saying he's toxic, his supporters are toxic, they're low-key sexist, they're low-key racist, etc.
I am hopeful, though.
Even, you know, you look at the money, you have to be concerned, but I am hopeful that he's going to be able to prevail just because the tactics from them do feel like they're looking at some internals and going, we got a problem here, we got to try some different things, we got to throw whatever we can against the wall and
The consultant class is basically all that the Democratic Party is like at its core.
I mean, really, because it's not a membership organization.
You know, it's not structured like DSA where you're a member and you go to regular meetings and you participate in activities and you have internal debates about what the what it's going to be.
It really is just basically a grift for consultants.
And they are the ones that get very upset, them and, you know, the elected leaders that they're in league with.
