It appears from the reporting I've been able to do that this is a kind of Bernie Sanders-adjacent
It's not from Bernie Sanders himself, but people in the Bernie Sanders kind of AOC wing of the party have raised millions of dollars to do their own super PACs to come in and try to defend people who are getting hit by super PACs from the other direction.
The last I saw that they had spent half a million or were planning to spend half a million in the race.
I don't know if they've come in with any more since then.
