My understanding of why Mississippi is so hard, it's not because Trump or the Republicans win Mississippi by the largest margin because they they don't, but the um partisanship is so racialized in the South and in Mississippi in particular. voice-verified

So you have close to 40% of the state who are either black or Latino. voice-verified

And so you get a large, you know, fairly large percentage that are Democratic voting. voice-verified

But then the white majority population is just so hard Republicans that it's very hard to penetrate. voice-verified
