And then rugby was still a big thing for me then.
I went down to varsity straight out of school because heaps of my mates were playing there.
And we had a real good, I played like Auckland school boys and stuff like that.
And then a lot of the boys who were in that team went to varsity.
And it was a pretty easy transition.
I love my time there.
Oh yeah.
Varsity footy, man, just good bunch of lads that love the beers.
Yeah.
Who worked hard, you know, and yeah, we had some real good times there.
Yeah.
But,
Real different to how it is now, I feel.
Like my first couple of years, I remember going down there for pre-season training, like 250 people.
