It's owned by News Corp, which oversees Fox News and both in the journal, which is obviously competing for the president's attention right now.

I think it's important to bifurcate it out.

Generally speaking, the Wall Street Journal hard reporting does great work, very important stuff.

I think it is basically believable.

The editorial board is a comic relief baby boomer, you know, sort of laugh factory at this point that is basically appealing to the politics of one man, Mr. Murdoch.

However, occasionally in times of acute national security situations, and I think specifically I can think about right after October 7th, it does seem as if some of the opinion that

vapors bleed into the reporting, the hard reporting at the Journal.

There was an example in late 2023 with the Journal, and I believe they've never retracted or apologized for this report, had a very loosely verified report

about how the Ayatollah, about how the Iranians directed October 7th.

No evidence has ever come to light on that fact.

The Iranians, by most reporting, were yes, in light of Hamas, but were basically in the dark.
