My husband is from South Africa and when we were in South Africa, there was this big mural of Nelson Mandela.

So like, it's easy to agree with people who agree with you, but it's growth comes from like having conversations with people that disagree with you and like trying to find like, you know, a common ground and learning that two things can be true at the one time.

Like it, you know, it's okay to be afraid of things that we're unaware of, but then you also must be able to speak what you actually believe in, in a gentle way to be able to create even a little inch of change, you know?
