The Outdoors FIFA Fan Festival in Houston has been open for less than 48 hours, and officials have already confirmed that four people were hospitalized and 22 were treated on-site for heat-related illnesses.

However, the heat didn't stop people like Norma Jacoby from turning out.

The heat index is forecast to be 105 in Houston on Sunday, when Germany and Curaçao face off inside the stadium, which has AC.

Hurricane season officially begins June 1st, and NOAA is predicting 8 to 14 named storms in the Atlantic this season.

Of those, NOAA is forecasting 3 to 6 hurricanes and 1 to 3 major hurricanes, meaning above Category 3 storms with winds at or above 111 mph.

NOAA Administrator Neil Jacobs says a below-average prediction does not guarantee a hurricane-free season.

NOAA is predicting 1 to 22 named storms in the eastern Pacific and 15 to 13 tropical storms in the central Pacific.
