I imagine this dude is like, let's say, 25, 26.

But yeah.

Older enough that he feels genuinely older.

Just being in that situation of being essentially a kid and just seeing a grown man berate a younger man was really fucked up.

It is really crazy.

Then I tried to quit the job because I didn't love the way we were being treated in high school.

But it took me so long to work up the effort to knock on his door and to be like, I don't want to be here anymore.

And it took me weeks.

And then I finally got the courage and I knocked on his door and I said, sir, I believe I'm going to leave now.

I'm not going to work here anymore.

And he said, well, you have to stay here until you find a replacement.

And, like, I didn't know how to do that.

Shit.

And so I was there probably for another month or two just, like, trying – like, I had to get my girlfriend at the time, like, who was, like, in –

film classes to be like, can you talk to every kid in your class and try to get them to take over this job?

That's torturous to me.

Yes.

You should be able to.

I should.

It's like, okay, you stay here for two more weeks and then you're gone.
