I mean, a 6'3 winger with that kind of size and that kind of shot,
would probably, you know, if I had to liken him to a player that all the fans around Montreal are going to know, I mean, I would kind of liken him to Anderson.

So, you know, I would liken him to an Anderson.
Well, I think that has some bearing on the thought process of a guy like Marchenko.

If he's aware that his teammate, Wierenski, is not going to commit long-term to Columbus, that makes it less likely that he's going to want to stay around.
I mean, he's only signed for one more year at a bargain price at $3.85 million, I believe.
And if he knows that Wierenski's not going to be around much beyond this year, why is he going to want to stay around?
Again, you try to connect dots at this time of year.
And obviously, we've had an exceptionally busy week of action on the trade front.
And there's a couple of reasons for that.
The fact that there is finally money in the marketplace again with the salary cap going up after being flat for so long.
And the fact that you don't have a lot of high-end free agents that you're going to be dropping a lot of money on on July 1st.
And, you know, this is what you get.
You get some real hockey trades, which is the first time we're seeing real hockey trades in bunches in many, many years.
So it's a good thing for hockey, I think.
