That was wrapped up last week.

I was co-chair with Kathleen Cannon.

It was a holdover from last year when I was the alliance rep.

It brought in stakeholders from throughout the community to talk about what we were doing right in Broward, where we needed to improve.

We welcomed troops back from the Korean War this go-around.

They hit all the memorials.

So there was a big turnout at the airport.

And it's always the best part about Honor Flight when they come back.

It's not all of us that go there to see the people.

It's the regular, normal traveler that's sitting at their gate and then sees what's going on.

A childhood friend of mine, Dietrich Sands,

passed away.

Her funeral services will be this weekend.

She's done a lot in this community.

She's been president of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and many, many other organizations.
