As a TDC chair, this was brought to my attention.

I took it to the administrator, and we went back out.

We met with the chair and his committee to vet this dollar amount for sponsorship for FIFA, since it exceeded the amount that TDC could do on their own.

So we're here today, but I asked the chairman, Mr. Perretta, step up for a minute.

to reach out to my colleagues and make sure all of their concerns were met.

And based on the memo that went out last night, it looks like the feedback we got from the other commissioners, because we can't talk.

We got many, many emails.

And I had many meetings with other folks about doing

certain events around the county.

And I think we all have the same pulse for the events and for Broward County for this investment, making sure Broward County is highlighted in any and every way that we can.

So we're here today to move this item.

And I'll be leaving here in a few minutes, so I wanted to make it time sensitive.
