And we're doing our best, we're trying to fund them, we're trying to get them whatever they need so we can retain and we can get new recruitments, right? podcast-host

to affect the hardworking men and women that are here today that protect our folks, protect our jails, and to be able to recruit other deputies to fill these positions or they can go elsewhere. podcast-host

At the sheriff's side, in fear of possibly losing seniority, losing those that are out there that have that seniority level, that to me it's an incentive to stay here in this position, to be in the system, to be able to gain that seniority, to be able ultimately to have that comfort level and be able to have ownership. podcast-host
