Um I loved food.
I used to go to parties when I was a kid in in Nigeria and the first thing my brother and I would always do is just go and eat the food, jello fries, plantain.
I'm sure you know you sure I'm sure you know what you're what I'm talking about.
I then b moved to England, started started studying there and then and then working there.
And I realized that, you know, at university, I was in economics in my final year university.
Sometimes I see it's a little bit naive.
I was doing international economics and basically the theory was like, you know, if you play around with a few variables, you actually have a positive impact on people's lives.
I thought to myself, that's something I wanna do.
I don't wanna be I wanna try and help people to live a more much more
More fulfilling and enriching lives.
And if it's so easy as that, why aren't governments in the world doing it?
Like you know, play around with a few variables and you can reduce unemployment.

Um, things like that.
So I thought this is what I want to do.
Um so I started off my career actually in the British government in in international development, um, which was great because then I got to look at, you know, working with the World Bank and I was also part of the team in the UK.
Transforming to create the WTO, the World Trade Organization.
So helping developing countries understand very complex trade agreements, which were sadly often miskewed.
