One of the main differences when you look at what we call developed economies, and I put that in brackets for a reason, is that they have systems in place that outlast

Going back to going back to economics, when I was studying economics we talked about fair systems and they said I still remember the statistics that if someone commits a crime
I think in Egypt it takes three to four years to go through the courts, but in a normal European country it takes six months. 'Cause there's a system of justice in place, right?
Why is it taking three to four years just for a simple crime like stealing someone's money or stealing their wallet?
Why does it take three or four years?
If you build a p system that's in place, that people trust the system, people buy into the system and people feed the system.
If they don't if they don't believe they'll feed the system that's how people emigrate, right?
They emigrate sometimes because they think I'm gonna go to a more fair system that allows me to make money, look after my kids, look after my family.
Um, whereas I don't want to be in a system that I try and do all this hard work, but I don't get anywhere.
So, you know, again, going back to the book, it's about self-autobiography and I use the impact framework across the book, but real life stories, work in the UN, work in the coffee shop.
And then I each chapter ends actually with an exercise.
There's always a four question exercise to actually test yourself.
I like things to be practical.
One of the things that when I work in the UN is that I just I don't like talking forever, like just having three or four hour meeting.
The fact that I used to have only 30 minute meetings and I used to avoid meetings as much as possible.
So I don't think it's just a waste of time.
Like, okay, what's what's the problem?
What's the solution?
Can we solve it in five or ten minutes through an email or whatever?
