Oh, you know you're in trouble when your team is supporting pre-season games where no teams are trying.
They're just trying things and players in different positions.
We want to talk about Essendon, the Essendon Football Club.
They lost to the Tigers.
I said it was impossible for them to lose and the impossible happened.
The young Tigers, they've only got a list of 23, 24 to pick from, are somehow playing competitive football, but they were good enough to have a win.
But could you believe that happened?
Well, they go hard at the players and they go hard at the coaches too.

Smooth sailing at the Bombers for quite some time, but I'd give them a little bit of an out because McGrath, Durham, they're key injuries and they go out of the game fairly early and it makes it so hard to fill those gaps.
But the thing that annoys me most about Essendon at the moment, and especially in that game on the weekend against the Tigers, was their skill level.
In that first quarter, the turnovers...
And Richmond weren't even putting that frontal pressure on.
It was almost like it was a design game plan.
Once they get the ball, shut down areas 30, 40, 50 metres away.
So they have to try and point harder kicks down the field.
And the ball was just turning over.
And that, for me, can be trained.
Your skills can be trained there.
and really worked on.
