If you go back through his games, especially the end of the season before, he went on that really nice run because he got consistent.

when you watch someone for too long, you notice everything that's wrong with them, and you keep trying to pick out the reasons why he's not the player we thought he was.
And sometimes fresh eyes into it, or in this case, maybe it's Malhotra that coached him, then didn't coach him, and now has a bit of a break, but understands what he can do and what he can bring.
To me, I think there's still more of a player there
Like, there's no reason at the absolute worst he's not your first penalty killer.
And plays really solid minutes, and he's putting up a point every three, four games.
Because the majority of time when you're talking about young guys is they have to grab it.
