So when you get up to Obama, he spent his entire term really on Obamacare.
That was pretty much it.
When you get to Trump and his first term after the Democrats took the House, they did nothing except impeach Trump.
So you could even say today, I hate to bring this up, I know people are going to screech, and I'm very optimistic about 2026, very optimistic.
But let's just say the Democrats took both the House and the Senate in 2026.
What would be the real practical outcome?
How many laws would they pass that Trump would sign?
Zero.
How many impeachments would they get through?
Because you're not going to get 67 votes in the Senate.
Zero.
So for all intents and purposes, unless Mike Johnson puts on some jets here, there wouldn't be a whole lot of difference between a Democrat Congress in 2027
and what we have now.
