Went on stage.

He took my name off, introduced me as Larry the Cable Guy.

And from that point on, I had...

I had like three radio stations at the time or four maybe while I was doing it.

And a light bulb went off and I said, man, you know, if I could get more radio stations to get on, they could promote me at these comedy clubs and I could start selling some pretty good tickets.

And that's what I did, and that's why I never asked for any pay.
