I think the thing that like sets this apart from your Beastie Boys acoustic cover is the arrangement.
That's the thing that always drew me to this particular cover because it is so pretty and mournful and it picks at it picks out the sadness that's in the original song that I've always heard.
I I love a happy sounding song that is sad.
But this one understands that that sadness is not the end.
It is like a through line.
And I think that's what's most successful about this cover.

Meridian Brothers, the the Colombian group, they do a really funny version of uh Son of a Preacher Man and they call it Columbia del Pichiman.
And that's a I would call that song almost untouchable.
It's a great and fun and weird cover.
