And then just a few years later, this was common at the time for Prince.
He wrote just a ridiculous amount of songs.
And he would put them into different bands or he would give he would gift them to singers that he really liked.
And one of those singers was Shaka Khan.

So it begins with the rap from Mel Mill from Grandmaster Flash and then it has that absolutely iconic Stevie Wonder harmonica line.
Right.
And it it just like Shaka Khan like structurally the song is not that much different than the original.
But there's just that that extra oomph, there's that extra sparkle.
There's a somebody threw a firework in that studio.
Right and everything just exploded.
It is such a high energy performance and especially just like effuse of vocal delivery from Shaka Khan.
All the elements are there.
It's a perfect song.
