Listen, of course the Manchester Derby is gonna be uh is gonna be interesting.
I think City are like the most interesting for me as someone w without skin in the game, really.
I don't think I've ever been as like looking forward to watching City games because I'm so curious about what this team is turning into.
Because we are in this sort of
Post Pep era where we don't really know what this team is going to be.
And even in the last year of Pep's time there, it was clearly not uh a team that was doing the things we typically associate with Pep Guardiola teams.
They this idea of um death by football, to quote um Brendan Rogers of of just keeping the ball.
They weren't doing that anymore.
Like they weren't able to press, they would they were much more open.
And and still again to uh this season under Moresca, you have so much fire.
Power there.
Like that front group of uh of Sherky Hall and Doku Semenu, like it's so scary of adding Indi as well.
But but I don't trust them to keep a clean sheet against anyone, and even with Enzo added to the midfield, I don't think they're gonna massively control games in the way they always have done.
I think United being quite sharp on the counter will have chances with the the speed they have going forward.
So when City were at their most dominant, they were
playing in a way that wasn't always appealing to neutrals because they could hold the ball for seventy percent of the time and it just it was a lot of time spent watching uh short passes in midfield.
But now there's a chaos I think to a lot of city games, which I don't sure it's good for them, but it's good for neutrals who who want to watch chaotic football.
And there's just such a contrast here between Everton where I feel David Moyes has been quite significantly shafted by the higher ups, with their CEO suggesting that the uh from the owner group point of view, not qualifying for Europe last season was a failure.
So the suggestion is that they're quite ambitious.
But then in the transfer market they just kinda like get lose more players than they bring in and leave them with what is it, like eighteen.
