Yeah, I know it lets everyone jump up and down and on a slot head season, but I do think Liverpool kind of played this well in terms of finding a balance between trying to create chances and not leaving themselves completely exposed for the pace that PSG bring on the counter.
The outcome was what it was, but I thought they actually did reasonably well and with a little bit of luck slash sharper finishing, this could have gone in a different direction.

I guess it's a good example of why handing out really big contracts to players past 30 is kind of scary, because it just sometimes happens quite quickly, like you say.
